Get a Plan … a Budget Plan!
Snowy, blustery winters are a part of life here in our little corner of New York State – that’s for sure! Which is why, for a few short months every year, a huge part of your household budget goes toward paying for your fuel.
Just when you’re paying for Thanksgiving dinners, holiday gifts, and all those other wintertime expenses, you’ve also got to deal with your heating oil or propane costs, too! What a headache!
Well, you no longer need to reach for the aspirin bottle because we have good news for you! You can take control of your heating bills by getting a plan – a budget plan from Glider Oil Co.
Here’s how our budget plan works: We estimate your annual fuel costs for the year ahead based on the number of gallons you used last heating season and this year’s Cap price, and that value is split into 12 monthly payments – from July to June.
If you wind up overpaying, you can apply the balance to next year’s plan, or we will issue a refund at your request. If we determine your payments are set too low, we’ll notify you in February or March and increase your monthly payment amount.
